Privacy Policy

Effective 18 June 2026 · Last updated 18 June 2026

Plain-language summary: We store the minimum needed to run your practice session — your code, your problem/progress history, and usage counts — keyed to an anonymous session cookie. Your code is sent to Google's Gemini API to power coaching. We don't sell your data. Purchase details (like your email) are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor.

1. Who we are

Arena is an AI-assisted interview-prep tool operated by an independent developer. Contact: [email protected].

2. What we collect

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data. Please don't paste secrets, credentials, or personal data into the editor or chat.

3. How we use it

Solely to provide the Service: generate and validate problems, run your code, give coaching, track your progress, enforce budgets/limits, and deliver and support purchases. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.

4. AI subprocessor

To power generation and coaching, the content of your problems, code, and chat messages is transmitted to Google's Gemini API and processed under Google's terms. We send only what is needed for the feature you invoked. Your API usage with us is metered but the API key is held server-side and never exposed to your browser.

5. Payment processor

Payments and billing are handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. Their handling of your payment information is governed by their privacy policy. We do not store full card details.

6. Retention

Session practice data persists so you can return to your workspace, and is retained while your session/pack is active and for a reasonable period afterward. You can request deletion of your session data by contacting us with your pack code or session details.

7. Security

Data is kept on our server with access controls, and AI keys are server-side only. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. To exercise them, email [email protected].

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.
