◎ ARENA

Terms of Service

Effective 18 June 2026 · Last updated 18 June 2026

Plain-language summary: Arena is an AI-assisted coding-interview practice tool. You buy a prepaid "cram pack" that gives you a bounded amount of AI coaching for a set period. The AI generates and coaches on practice problems; it can be wrong. Don't abuse the service. Refunds are available within 7 days if you haven't substantially used your pack.

1. What Arena is

Arena ("the Service") is an interview-preparation environment that generates coding problems, runs your code against tests, and provides AI-assisted coaching and study material. It is an educational practice aid, not a guarantee of any interview, hiring, or career outcome.

2. Access and cram packs

Access to AI features is sold as prepaid "cram packs," each carrying a fixed token budget and an expiry period (e.g. 7–14 days). When you redeem a pack code, the budget and expiry are bound to your session. AI coaching pauses when a pack's budget is exhausted or it expires; problems and content you already generated remain available. A limited free tier may be offered at our discretion and is rate- and budget-limited.

3. Payment and refunds

Payments are processed by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, who handles billing, tax, and receipts. Prices are shown at checkout. You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase if you have not substantially consumed the pack (less than 25% of its token budget used). Request refunds by emailing the address below; we aim to respond within 3 business days.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) attempt to extract, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service or its AI providers; (b) use the Service to generate content that is unlawful, harassing, or infringing; (c) share, resell, or automate redemption of pack codes; or (d) circumvent rate limits, budgets, or the code sandbox. We may suspend access for abuse without refund.

5. AI-generated content

Problems, solutions, hints, and explanations are produced by automated models and may contain errors. Validate anything important independently. Arena does not reveal full reference solutions to graded problems by design; the coaching is intentionally guided. You are responsible for the code you write and run.

6. Your content

Code you write and progress you generate are stored to operate the Service for you (see the Privacy Policy). You retain ownership of original code you author. You grant Arena a limited license to process it solely to provide the Service.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content is accurate.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arena and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the pack giving rise to the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
